Assignment: Hang out with some singles

It's 3 am and I'm in the drive-thru of a Jack in the Box photographing a group of drunk singles order munchies before heading home. We've just spent the last 4 hours at the club, where they danced and I photographed—and everybody loves the girl with the camera in a night club.

A few days later it's karaoke and drinks in downtown Phoenix. This time with two 20-something year old men. One full of confidence. The other filled with heartache. They sing and suck down drink specials. The writer, AZ Republic nightlife reporter Megan Finnerty, and I drive them home.

Oh to be single. I don't miss it for a second.
