J'Shon Lee, 22, was selected by The W.K. Kellogg Foundation to take part in an article on the topic of Race in America. Lee, an activist for Native American issues, will be featured along with 3 other young people who have been working to improve race relations in their community.

Lee, a senior at Arizona State University, was born on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Northeastern Arizona. She serves as co-president of the United National Indian Tribal Youth's National UNITY Council Executive Committee, as well as co-vice president of the National Congress of American Indian Youth Commission. Lee will graduate in May 2011. She is currently applying to graduate school for public policy and education as well as Teach For America.
